THere are no wings yet though. Just a quick sketchie before I have to figure out how to make it look like the wings are painted on the wall behind the subject.

Here's my two cents opinion
hmmm, if you ask me, this pic slaps all common sense upside the head... A character that looks really human except it has fur and a tail... and wings too!
That note put aside it's looking pretty good!!! and for the wall/wing effect maybe you could just draw them as if they actually were on the wall. With the character seemingly placed at the exact convenient spot the impression should work... methinks at least. ----------- "Poteaux luisants, strings fluorescents!"

Maybe if you gave the wings a sort of spraypaint type effect. Or something. I'm not the least bit artistic, so I wouldn't know. -----------

Here's my two cents opinion
I know this would change your pic but that's what I thought of: If your character had her back leaning agaisnt the wall, then maybe if you drew the wings with as little perspective as possible and only superficial shading (as it would be on the wall) then maybe it might work.. No? ----------- "Poteaux luisants, strings fluorescents!"

| whoa... came in here thinking this topic somehow realated to me. narcississtic, no? anyway... nice pic. and as to your wing problem... perhaps it look best if you made the wings in a single, monotone color? or rather two: on for the top, and one for the inside. ----------- "These shoes arent cheap. Making the wings look somewhat less realistic should indeed do the trick. Gonna apply that now... ----------- ART OF DEATH. DOODLES OF SATAN.
