Is there any difference between games released in North America and games released in Europe?
If I were to go on ebay and buy a game that was released in Europe only, would it still run fine on my GBA? -----------

Here's my two cents opinion
I'm not sure it would run. but then again maybe because I remember that the first game boy could play american and european games and since the gba plays gameboy games then technically you should be able to play them. Nope, they're the same thing. GBA does not have any regional lockout, so you will be able to run NTSC and PAL games (Do they classify GBA games into those categories? Well, then North American and European games then.) equally as well. -----------

| EU games just tend to come with ungodly huge manuals, my aria of sorrow and a couple other gba games are european and i have a jap copy of breath of fire 2.
I also have what appears to be a knock off jap cartridge, slightly different color plastic, different looking font on the back and one of those goo dot ICs rather than a surface mount dip package
so yes eu games will work, the only real difference will be some possible localization changes (6 languages etc etc) -----------

Look inside the bottom of the cartridge to tell if it's genuine. If it's real, you see an Nintendo logo in the middle above the connectors. -----------

| I say this, ye spawn of hell;
Yeh, all region gba cartridges are pretty much the same. I had a jap SF2Revival, Mario Kart and..well, the Jap mario kart had Mobile connectivity for..some japanese reason.
Stupid of me tho, being so impatient, made me pay way too much for a game that would be released in a month or two in my own country. Bleh.
Also found out Jap gba games can multiplay with Eur cartridges. ----------- My art. Hey, it's a big difference from your usual porn, barbarian.
