Nintendo has once again come through with a solid project that is fun to play and provides a good if sometimes frustrating challenge, but at the same time this game comes with notable disappointments. I love the tag team format, the interesting designs for environments and karts, the new weapons and new changes to old weapons, the All-Cup mode, and the overall experience. I hate the fact that there are only 16 tracks (they should've made like Super Circuit and included "classic" stages, in this case from MK64), the "waste" characters like Toadette and Baby Mario/Luigi, the unfair "computer assistance" at the 150cc level that applies to CPU racers but not to players, the exclusion of the feather and ghost items, and the lackluster battle arenas (possibly the worst batch in the entire MK series).

Anyone else play this yet?

Also: the bonus disc sucks ass. Very few playable demos, all of which are disappointingly shallow compared to demo discs for other systems. Though the new Ninja Turtles seems like a fun game.

It's FAN-tastic!
