He's right. I tried playing it on the newest VBA and it seems to be able to detect being played on an emulator. This is weird since this is the only game so far I've seen with this protection, since you'd figure Nintendo would put this in all their GBA games (unless they do, and and it gets deciphered by haxorz, which explain all those annoying Mode 7 headers when you play certain games).
