| Zyith 10/25/2004 10:59:22PM | Ack, essay style questions on programming. Not good. I have all multiple choice for all of my tests. (English we have no tests, just essays.)
I've been struggling with the Bio class I have because the teacher is a moron (and everyone agrees in the class). She just recently changed the way she teaches after getting bitched at... yay I got a 94 on the midterm but my average is still a B. (I wanted an A in this class after the easy first test) Of course these two girls I know in the class have D averages so I shouldn't complain. ^_^;; |
10/22/2004 06:53:58PM | Had a chinese midterm yesterday... We were in groups of 2 and had to make dialogues based on everything we'd learned so far... I discovered when I got there that we weren't allowed to actually look at our dialogue, and most people learned theirs by heart... So I read it over and over while other people were doing theirs, and it was actually fine, forgot a couple of lines, improvised on one or two of them... Most importantly I didn't drag down my partner with me... I did ok, mainly cause the teacher knew I didn't learn the thing by heart, so it might in the end have turned out better than if I had learned it by heart :D
And now I'm on my way to a Java programming midterm... I hate those... "Please explain the advantage of [insert complicated word] over [insert other complicated word]" -- These words are actually simple concepts that you don't even think about while programming, but if you don't learn all these things by heart you're not getting the points for the question... Thankfully there's "What's wrong with this program?" and multiple choice kind of questions which are usually pretty simple :P *will attempt to be the first to finish, despites the professor's "this is not a race" warnings* |
