01/09/2004 12:04:16PM | Doing metroid muzak, I give you my respect. Take it, dammit.
Now try Metroid 2 tunes. :) Although, video game ringtones... *shame* ...I myself got the GTA3 Beeper tone. :P |
01/03/2004 08:09:20AM | Yeah, I learned it on the guitar and it is awesomeness.
That new midi is pretty aweomse. Keep up the good work. |
01/03/2004 06:31:42AM | Quoting Chaos: Do Kraids Hideout. I love that song... Well, that one is cool, but I think what makes it cool is the harmony. By the way, I taught myself how to do it on the piano. It's the most difficult thing I can play to date. (Second place being a slightly simplified Arkanoid theme) Eventually, hopefully, I can play the castle music from Castlevania 2. That one's real complicated though. For those unfamiliar with it, here's a midi I converted to use only piano as an instrument. Dwelling of Doom |
12/30/2003 11:52:18PM | Do Kraids Hideout. I love that song... |
12/30/2003 01:43:11PM | Castlevania 2 in fact. Thanks for playing.
Okay, I made one more from Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Lost Woods, anyone? I'm trying to think of others I can do. Like I said before, I'm limited to 50 notes. I also need to keep it within 3 octaves (starting at C) and I can't have any harmonization. Only one note at a time. |
12/30/2003 05:02:51AM | I agree. It has to be castlevania... |
12/30/2003 04:01:59AM | Yeah, I'm picking up a sort of Castlevania vibe too. But of course I'm not too good at remembering tones, so I'm probably wrong. |
| witeasprinwow 12/30/2003 03:01:33AM | Something in my head makes me thing Castlevania, although I'm fairly sure that's wrong.
Anyways, cool ringtones. Much cooler than my sterotypical Toccata and Fugue, anyways. |
12/30/2003 01:05:00AM | I got a cell phone for Christmas. It's probably not top-of-the-line, but it has one feature I really love. It has a composer so you can create your own ringtones. I activated it today and already have composed two.
Bonus points for whoever can tell me what video game these tones are based on. Ringtone #1 Ringtone #2 The second one isn't a completely true rendition, but I'm limited to 50 notes (and the rests between notes count :/) |
