I work at a small movie theatre, and mostly I get stuck in the box office (which is about 10 ft. square, just enough room for two people to move comfortably) and am not allowed to leave except for my 20-minute break. And lately, the theatre has been showing "classic" movies at midnight on Fridays and Saturdays (Fight Club, Snatch, Pulp Fiction, etc) so I have to stay until 12:15 am. Since the last movie before midnight usually starts around 10:30, I'm there for 2 hours, sitting there doing nothing. It's late at night, I'm tired, nobody even walks into the door, most of the rest of the employees have gone home so there's no one to talk to, and we're not allowed to bring books. But I wouldn't have complained if you hadn't. |
