Not just because of the anime part (which was hilarious) but I also loved the parody of Beverly Hills Cop. Someone did a very funny Eddie Murphy impression there. One of my favourite Clerks lines is in there too. Dante: Look at all the press. Randall: Don't worry, I'll handle this. (loudly) Here's Mr. Guilty, boys, fire away. Surfpossum is a total fucking retard, there's no way around it. When he DOES decide to get into conversation, you'll discover that he's terribly insecure, and finds some way to misread every single fucking post as a personal attack. Plus, he also has a tendency to NOT FUCKING PAY ATTENTION TO THE TOPIC AT HAND WHICH FUCKING PISSES ME THE FUCK OFF. Oh yes, and hello Lago. EDIT: And to get on a tangent again, I'll agree that Minmei is annoying (and is starting to grate on my nerves more and more), but Ohilou was always the one that pissed me off badly. |

I never found the slightest thing annoying about Kiwibonga. Someone who found him annoying obviously hasn't been around the internet enough to experience *some* people. The most annoying people I've ever come into contact with went by the names "Possibility" and "W@velength" Possibility went to a game forum I used to frequent and came up with ludicrous suggestions for how to "improve" the game, and when people told him his suggestions didn't work he said that the way the game was played as it is was just plain stupid. The argument took weeks and everything he said degenerated into personal insults. W@velength was worse. We were talking about this game show in Germany and he started ranting about how if the Germans don't like nazi-killing in Wolfenstein they shouldn't have started both world wars. Having actually taken history in high school, I knew that Germany did not start WWI and told him that. He argued furiously. I pointed out online references that Austria-Hungary and Serbia started the war, and he called me closed-minded and said I didn't know the slightest thing about history. He didn't even try to prove his side, he didn't even try to disprove mine, and he didn't even read what I was saying. He was so convinced that he was right that he wouldn't accept anything else. He was constantly flinging shit, and saying inhumanly annoying things like "Thanks for proving my point" To this day, I still want to kill him, clone him, and kill his clone. |

| TheNintenGenius 02/24/2003 03:53:57AM | To get back momentarily on the subject of the Clerks cartoon, I saw all 6 episodes today, and I generally liked what I saw. Mini comments on the episodes are as follows:
Episode 1 and 2 were undeniably the funniest of the bunch, especially the 2nd with its rampant satirization of about anything and everything. Episodes 3 and 4 were merely OK. In fact, Episode 4 would be downright bad if not for its ending. (mockery of anime is always fun to watch) Episodes 5 & 6 got back on the right track, and 6 would probably be my third favourite, with the constant running gags and how it became completely nonsensical near the end. Overall, it was all good, and more or less worth the $15(US) I payed for the eps. EDIT: Oh yes, and I won't even begin to comment on what Lago and company are saying, given that I've been pissed off at the world all day, and the feeling that God is mocking me will keep me from making the rant coherent. So I'll just say that Dante Hicks' classic "I'm not even supposed to BE here," is becoming more and more applicable in my life. If I don't end up like Tome in a few years, I'll be damned surprised. |
