That's it! Starman! And I mean the mexican wrestler from Pro wrestling. Stick him in Smash Bros. Nobody'd choose the default pink outfit tho..

His signature Somersault kick'd fit in nicely.

And if Toad was actually playable in SSB3, peach could just smack around with random Toads, like the ones from all ?-4 worlds form SMB1.

BTW, Action 52 IS one of the worst games ever on NES....or any system while we're at it.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Bokosuka Wars in this discussion of bad NES games. I'd put that up with Heroes of the Lance and Action 52 any day. Might as well bring up Deadly Towers and M.U.S.C.L.E. while I'm at it.

No, I think Action 52 is worse, as the combined shittyness of 52 bad games more than beats out the shittyness of just one game.

Urban Champion really isn't that bad compared to some of the shit I've had the displeasure of playing.

I was saying those two games are pretty much the worst I've played. Action 52 fits in there too, but I don't think it's quite as bad as the other two. At least you could progress levels in Action 52.

Wait, are you suggesting that Nintendo include them in Smash Bros. or mentioning them as worse than Urban Champion? Because the former would make for some interesting battles.

Urban champion has got to be one of the crappiest games ever. But then there is that Action 52 game i heard someone talking about here before.

I think there should be some mini games orsomething. Maybe a snowball fight type thing where you throw items/progectile attacks at one another. Its kind of a stupid ideabut im kinda out of ideas right now.

They do need to fix the whole catching an item in midair deal like it shows in the special movie (if you are stupid and dont know what im talking about go to data/achives/special movie). Ive never been able to actually pull that off. Well maybe once but it was an accident.

What about the guy from Urban Champion? You would think that a fighting game would have some fighting characters, but Nintendo probably wants to forget that they made that game.....

Yeah. I played it on a ROM once. That was all I needed. But I DO have a move list for him that could work in SSB3.

A: Weak punch
B: Strong punch
A+down: Weak punch to groin
B+down: Strong punch to groin
A+up: Weak punch
B+up: Strong punch
A+toward: Weak punch
B+toward: Strong punch
Jump, A: Weak punch
Jump, B: Strong punch
Jump, down+A: Weak punch to where groin would be at standing position
Jump, down+B: Strong punch to where groin would be at standing position

...Oh heck, you get the idea.

Yay! Permission to kill! But alas, it seems i have left my "tools" in my other jacket. Oh well, so is life.

As for replacing the Toad move, i guess they could make it so she uses a different mushroom guy instead of THE Toad. Like a dude with green spots instead of red.

Yeah, I think the difficulty curve is off too. Especially the jump from level 8 to level 9. And why is it the CPU never EVER misses a dash grap? Why?!? Cheating bastards!!!

I think they should give Marth a good knockback move. His moves are cool and everything, but ive noticed they usually just leave the opponent in range for an easy counter attack.

Yes, I wasn't paying attention to who was saying what up above, and yes, I know I should've remembered the official size, but I forgot.

You might as well all fucking kill me already.

Curse you people for constantly putting words in my mouth.

If you played the original SSB or followed Kirby since the beginning then you'd have known his official size already.

And what could replace Peach's Toad deflection move? An offense-minded player like myself might find it useless, but I understand its function and effectiveness.

Speaking of deflection: I hope they drop the whole "everyone can deflect projectiles" feature. It's really annoying and cheapens characters who have a legit deflection/absorption move (i.e. Fox, Ness, Mario, etc.). If not then the programmers should at least fix it so the CPU never uses it with unerring accuracy unless it's on level 6 or above (the difficulty curve gets very skewed around 4 and 5).

DCB: Olimar being an inch tall wouldn't affect things any. Kirby's only supposed to be 6 inches tall. And come on, they fit Mr. Game & Watch in there, and I'm assuming you know how small the Game & Watch games were.

I thought about Toad, but like what DCB said, Peach uses him as a defensive move, so that wouldn't work out so well. Pity really, Toad kicks ass.

Actually, Kirby is 8 inches tall. But before you call me a dork, the only reason I know that is because I just played melee earlier today and I was bored so I was scrolling through my trophies.

And Peach can just have a new move for the next game, can't she? Is this idea such a foreign one?

Repeat after me. Chaos. Not DCB. Chaos.

Ok, so Olimar would be a good choice then.

I think there should be more unique characters, such as the ice climbers. By unique i mean the whole playing style is different. Plus there should be some sort of Tetris level with blocks falling at you or someting like that. Ah, that would be fun.

TOAD! I can't believe we all overlooked him.

Markvega: Toad was a half-way decent fighter in Super Mario Bros. 2.
Come on, Toad. Whip that turnip!

Ah, toad. Of course. I think i remember bringing him up when i ahd this same conversation with my brother though. It would be strange though considering Peach uses him as an attack. If she used him against himself, some sort of havoc would ensue in the time space continuum. Madness!

I had considered that excitebike guy but thought it would seem stupid.

Oh! Captian Olimar would be kinda cool if he could incorporate pikman into his attacks. But seeing as he is only about an inch tall might cause some problems.

Another idea! The coolest character would be Tom Nook from animal crossing! Hes the bomb diggity yo! (sarcasm)

King Hippo sucks. Once he goes down he never gets back up. One knockdown and it's over for him. It's all about Don Flamenco, baby!

Toad as a character, wonder how'll they'd make that lil guy any violent.

I think putting a Mr Excitebike in there would be cool, and making him a little harder to control as...he's on a bike and stuff. But imagine the possibilities!

Hmm, if Little Mac ever gets in there, they should stick in King Hippo too!

I know what they could do:

1. Go into Home Run Contest
2. Replace Sandbag with Dog
3. Bring happiness to gamers worldwide

And I just realized what Nintendo forgot to include in Smash Bros.: Gyromite! I don't know if the Professor would make a formidable fighter, but a stage based on the game's stages would be ingenious. Maybe R.O.B. can be a playable character....

Yes, I suppose you are right Hyena. Even though a ground fighting Ridley would kinda kill him, it would still be nice to have him. But if he totally sucked then it would soil metroids good name. Kraid is a good choice, but wouldnt it be stupid to be using him in Binstar depths? But of course, if i remember correctly, in Super Metroid wasnt there a little Kraid just a bit taller than Samus?

If (more like when) Nintendo makes a new game then i am guessing there will be a few characters that many of todays (younger) gamers wouldnt know. Honestly, who here actually knew who the Ice Climbers where from the start (I didnt recognize them at first, but after soome recollecting i remembered playing the Ice Climbers game). Im thinking Pit is a must have. And maybe that dog from duck hunt, just so everyone can finally get their revenge for getting laughed at (i dont think there is a single gamer who didnt try shooting that damn dog. I did, and i was only 4 or so the first time i played duck hunt). Hehe

DCB: If I want a cute character that can tear its opponent three new assholes, I'll pick Kirby.
And as for Starfox, there's a new game "Starfox adventures" in which Fox is a fighter, so there.

Chaos: I agree about Pichu.
And about Ridley, yes, he kicks anii. Loads and loads of anii. But I don't think he would fit in so well. The only way he would work is if he was constantly airborne, which wouldn't work at all. Apart from the more obvious reasons like KOs, and control inconsistencies, many in game bonuses are things like never jumping, walking but never running, and such would have to be completely disregarded.
And turning him into a ground fighter would just ruin Ridley.

Kraid would be a cool addition if he weren't a fuzillion feet tall. (Although he wasn't that tall in original Metroid. Heh.)

I wouldn't dismiss Pokemon characters so quickly. First of all, Mewtwo 0wNz. Second, Pikachu and Jigglypuff are cool in that they look and sound nauseatingly and annoyingly cute but can rip up the stage at any given time. The creative heads behind the game could've done way better than Pichu of course (as I've mentioned before).

Just because some characters aren't natural fighters doesn't mean they should be excluded. Just look at what they did to Captain Falcon and the Star Fox guys. Hell, I bet someone will find a way to integrate Bubbles from Clu Clu Land into there.

A GBA Smash Bros. is kind of a stretch and would require sacrificing some key features especially on the screen's resolution. If I was into portable gaming more then I'd love to see it happen, but right now I don't really care much.

FYI: Waluigi got his name not only because it's similar to Luigi, but it contains the Japanese word "warui" which means "bad". Yes, it is stupid.

Pichu definetly has to be the stupidest characters ever. I mean, Hes exactly the same as Pikachu, except hes lighter and he hurts himself? What the hell is that?! On a side note though, its funny to play a stamina match with him and kill yourself. He dies all dramatically but just falls dowm. Then have the other characters kick his dead body around. Hahaha. Pokemon cruelty at its best... The only decent Pokemon in that game is Mewtwo, but he not that great himself.

As for my idea of Ridley, he would just kind of flutter around like kirby. And Im actually suprised you wouldnt jump at the chance to see more Metroid characters Hyena. What is wrong with you? Heh(But youre right. that whole Waluigi thing was out of place. I am full of shame... His name is not even the least bit original)

By the way, this reminds me of something else i thought of a long time ago. Wouldnt you think a Smash Bros GBA would be one of the most kickass things ever? I mean, it could be done pretty easily.

"Most of them are irritating"

I find the following characters irritating: Pikachu, Jiggly Puff, Pichu.

Suffice it to say "Pokemon"
The rest I'm fine with. Who do you find irritating? I already said what I thought about Mario.

"Most of them are not made to fight"

Like who? Everyone in the game has had a fighting role in other games except for Captain Falcon and Dr. Mario (But he's really just Mario in a doctor's costume).
Falco, Starfox's sidekick flies a jet and doesn't really do close combat fighting that I know of, so maybe him too.

On top of that, Kiwibonga: Street Fighter characters would ruin Smash Bros. If they turned Smash Bros. into Street Fighter it would lose its identity, but Street Fighter characters would be completely out of place unless they *did* turn the whole game into Street Fighter.

I know, it was just for the purpose of kicking Mario's ass, as I said :P

What I didn't like about Super Smash Bros is that most of the characters weren't made to fight in the first place, most of them are really irritating, and you just want to see blood after a while :P
